my training: how its going and how i want it to go

recently my training has been harder and more efficient than it ever has been, and on most weekends i have been training with the key aspects of docendo discimus while training with the young ones.
last saturday i went to ramsgate and did a few conditioning laps around the monkey rocks only allowing myself to touch the rocks after a lap i decided it would benefit me more if i went barefoot.
needless to say it helped my training and i feel that it taught me alot more about the performance and workings of my body.
this weekend i will improve more on last weekends training with more strength training involved and a bit of technique training, a few of the young ones have stopped turning up to training sessions but this was forseen a long time ago as i could not have expected them all to carry on and train regularly.
also, i have received a confirmation email from jason matten stating that i have received a place at tracuer gathering and after looking at the list of names of people going i am very excited and all that is needed to be sorted out now is travel up there. well that is all for this week and ill post next week saying if i achieved my goals for this week or not

general trainingz

the last 3 day weekend i had proved to be a time of thinking, training and more thinking.
on saturday i decided that i would go and train on my own seeing as others were not available and it proved to be time well spent as i seemed to improve massively on my technique and movement and when i got back i spent a gd hour and a 1/2 on tree training practising laches, body drops and dynos ( very shoddily, must improve) and then on the following day i did some more tree training :). in the morning on monday i returned from my paper round to find an empty house and no electricity so i went training in my local area on some trees ( again) and vaults and other stuff, after that i decided to go train in margate and as all the stupid chavs were at scholl it proved to be a very calm session and it went amazingly well.
at the moment i am debating what to do on saturday but i suppose that i will go and help give as much guidance as i can to the little ones with munday in ramsgate, as i really do enjoy training with them and i think that the feeling is mutual so as i finish my post i finish with a little joke :)

how many tracuers does it take to change a lightbulb?
1000, 1 to change the lightbulb and 999 to argue if its parkour or not

new blog

i have a new blog (again) and im gonna use this one more as my parkkour has become more serious and influentual on my life.
as thanet parkour is being set up yet i cannot help feel that something is wrong, as we begin to teach young ones around thanet i have realised that i am not yet ready to pass on a wealthy amount of knowledge on to them, sure i can pass on knowledge and techniques but it is limited as my training is still impaired, i have been told i have great technique and that i am progressing well but i know that the one factor letting me down is my strength.
to improve on this i will be doing more conditioning and strength training in my house and my garden and despite the weather at the weekend i will go out and drill movement and technique.
to help the young ones i must first be able to help myself and become stronger in all aspects of parkour and follow the old saying 'be strong to be useful'
